I am cursed to work in a Midtown law firm's trust & estates department. I was discussing a trust for yet-to-be-born twins with their parents and asked if they had selected names for their daughters. Of course they had. Pairis and Londtwin. I said, "Excuse me?" and pondered an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist. I could not have heard that correctly. In the grand tradition of those who offer far too much information, the parents proceeded to explain that they weren't sure if they were conceived in London or Paris and wanted to give them names to indicate they were twins (because, apparently, having a sibling the exact same age isn't enough). I also work with a client who adopted two children from China and re-named them Sasha and Malia.
