Subject: What's next for the Next Big Jewish Idea?
 | Hi Next Big Jewish Idea Participant,
The first round of the search for the Next Big Jewish Idea closed last week, and the community response has exceeded even our most optimistic expectations.
We received hundreds of brilliant ideas from community members, entertainers, educators, philanthropists, students and entrepreneurs. And by midnight last Thursday, we had received over 100,000 votes for those ideas!
The top three vote recipients will advance to the final round of voting, but we're not quite ready to announce the finalists. Our staff is busy analyzing the online tallies and eliminating any fraudulent votes. Once we're 100% certain we know who the top three legitimate vote recipients are, we will announce them to our entire community.
Along with the top three vote recipients, three more ideas chosen by our panel of judges will advance to the final round. Believe me, it's going to be incredibly difficult to pick those last three ideas.
In fact, we received so many good ideas that our judges need more time to select their three finalists. So we've decided to start the final round of voting on May 2nd, and extend it until June 3rd.
Thank you for your participation in round one, and for your keen interest in caring for Jews in need, engaging in the community and ensuring the Jewish future.
